Review for commission of painted slate. I contacted HZW Designs to commission a slate of my Border Terriers and right from that initial contact I couldn't have been happier. Well, we started out with “I really love your drawings, can you do one for me of your two having a beer with my dog?” and by the time we finished up the whole menagerie was in there having fun on the beer patio – and you have to love those chickens!  This was my husband’s Christmas present and he loves it – hung in pride of place over the kitchen table.  The detail that goes into Helena’s work is amazing (just read the label on the beer bottles).  This is all put together from separate photos of the house, the patio and the animals – you are a very clever lady Helena!

I was thrilled to commission Helena to create a picture for my husband for his birthday.  He had spent 2 years rebuilding his Citroen DS rally and I wanted a fitting present to mark the completion of the project.  Helena was fastidious on the measurements and details, making sure that all the decals were correct too. She is also a border terrier mum, so managed to draw Pepper and Spot in to the picture to make it special and personal to Stu.  She is so talented and I would not hesitate to commission her again .
